There is also room to develop projects yourself on the Lease islands, such as providing English lessons for youth and organizing environmental education.

  • Oversee the maintenance and management of the Paparisa

  • Shape and continue processes to keep the financial collaboration between TML and HGI healthy

  • Contribute to the development of new projects and initiatives on the island

Profile of the ideal candidate

  • Strong communication skills and able to collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders, especially in the Indonesian context

  • Flexible and proactive attitude

  • Good command of Dutch, English, and Ambon Malay

  • Affinity with sustainability, regional development, waste processing, and environmental protection

What we offer

  • A challenging and inspiring role in which you can truly make a difference for local communities on Haruku, Saparua, and Nusalaut

  • The opportunity to carry out the work partly from the Netherlands and partly from Indonesia
